Music has been used in medical treatment such as reducing anxiety and stress during medical treatments, enhancing spatial-temporal reasoning, generating higher brain functional skills in reading, literacy, mathematical abilities and enhancing emotional intelligence . Hospital Anxiety and Depression leads to a poorer quality of life (QOL) and compromises patient outcomes.

Various other studies were conducted on patients recovering from various illness. Treatment outcomes were observed with respect the Quality of life (QOL), stress levels, vitals such as HR, BP and qualitative feedback. echo soundscapes demonstrated high levels of improvements in almost all the parameters for most of the patient. Indications such as relief from pain, improved sleep, reduced anxiousness before procedures were observed.
